The Hand Center was founded by Dr. Frank W. Gwathmey. He dedicated his professional career to building The Hand Center to be the best facility for hand and elbow care in the Hampton Roads area. The practice draws patients and referrals from the entire region including the states of Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. There are also patients in other regions of the country who come to the center to receive care.
