Dr. Christopher K. Hersh, M.D., MBA
Dr. Christopher K. Hersh, M.D., MBA, graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics. He attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and obtained his MD in 1990. He became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honors society. Upon graduation Dr. Hersh began work in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he trained with some of the nations top orthopaedic surgeons. He stayed in San Antonio completing a fellowship in microvascular and hand surgery with the San Antonio Hand Center. He came to the Hampton Roads area to teach and serve in the United States Navy at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He ultimately joined The Hand Center.
Dr. Hersh is a member of the American Association of Hand Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications of Hand Surgery.
Dr. Hersh currently practices hand surgery at The Hand Center. He operates at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center.
Dr. Hersh was recently named as one on the regions top hand surgeons in Hampton Roads Magazine's annual health issue.
